Why Do Babies Die And Child Molesters Go Free? I don't like to talk about religion but certain things force me to question the ethics of "god" at minimum. Last week a friend of mine had his first son 2 days later the baby died in the hospital and it pains me to think about how he must feel. The very same day this baby died I seen a popular talk show covering child molestation and I couldn't stop wondering WHY, WHY did this baby die and these horrible men who are molesting children go free! "There are 400,000 registered sex offenders in the United States, and an estimated 80 to 100,000 of them are missing. They're supposed to be registered, but we don't know where they are and we don't know where they're living.

How could all loving God allow these atrocites to happen? Why would he let babies die? Why would he let the people who hurt babies live? Seriously can someone try to answer these questions. I am in no way saying that God doesn't exist its just I personally question my fate when I think of these matters. • More than 1/2 of all convicted sex offenders are sent back to prison within a year. Within 2 years, 77.9% are back.
-California Department of Corrections. The Supreme Court in a 5-4 vote ruled against a louisiana law allowing the death penalty to be imposed on child rape violators. "The death penalty is not a proportional punishment for the rape of a child," -Justice Anthony Kennedy- Maybe we should rethink this? Just maybe, I personally think the death penalty is a very Proportional punishment for these types of crimes. Anyway you look at it we live in a cruel, cold world.

Childbirth Without Health Insurance Having my first child was a very emotional roller coaster full of happiness and stress. The thoughts of how financially stable and prepared I was left me with many days of clenching my stomach and drinking pepto just to make it through the work day. I am a U.S. defense contractor and work and live in Honduras and at times everyday life is challenging at best. Me and my wife have been together since January 2005 but we didn't get married until April 2008 about 2 weeks prior to my sons birth. This left us facing childbirth without health insurance in an impoverished country. I am fairly financially responsible but could not help myself from thinking of the possibilities of complications that would surely leave my newly formed family in a jam. I am sure i am not the first or last person to have a child without health insurance however in the U.S. there are state hospitals who are compitent and obligated to treat you. Here in Honduras the Government hospitals look like the 3rd world makeshift hospitals that you see in horror movies. We had decided early on to have our son here in our rural city of Comayaguaand sought out and quallified doctor who had his own maternity clinic. I set the money aside and paid for my sons birth in cash. At the end of the day at was all an easy process and my little boy is happy and healthy The whole process cost me roughly $1,000 and everyone at the clinic was great to us. But for anyone out there thinking about having a child without health insurance save yourself the stress and get insurance first.

Starting A Baby Book During the first year's there will be so many first's and events in your child's life that you will want to document and remember. A good way of doing this is starting a baby book. You can either purchase a book that has a layout already just search "baby memory book" or you can purchase a regular scrapbook from just about any crafts store. Any size will work however you may prefer a larger size so you can fit your photos alongside with other memories. You will also need a way of adhering items to the pages of your baby book you can choose either a glue gun or glue sticks to make things simple. All of this can be purchased online or again at any crafts store you may also want to consider diferent color construction papers and decorations if you think you will get really creative. Now that you have all the ingredients for a baby book we can start to gather items to include in the book. You should gather photos, birth anouncement, items from your baby shower, cards from family and any other memories you have saved to this point in your baby's life. The baby book should start out with a title page as an introduction to your baby book and for what time period the book will cover. This would make a nice place to include your baby's birth anouncement, try to include a photo of your little one on this page also. If you dont have a birth anouncement don't worry just include your baby's vital information at birth. The next few pages you will want to cover the baby shower. You should include photos of loved ones from the baby shower and you can glue in any decorations or anything else you have left over from the baby shower on these pages. Wrapping paper can be cut up to make confetti just be creative and I promise your child will love you for it. You should also include a note from mom and a seperate note from dad to let baby know exactly how you were feeling when he or she was born. Your child will read this one day so make sure you really put some effort into it and let your child know how excited you were and how much they are going to be loved. If you are able to you should dedicate a page each for this and take some time out to write it, if you would like you can include a wallet size photo of mom and dad on there journal pages. Now we have a good start on your baby book you can either just start adding photos and recording milestones as your baby reaches them or we can add a few more pages to what we already have. For my baby's book I will my childs footprints and handprints and i will also add a small lock of hair. Again at any crafts store you will find non toxic ink pads to do this with. I will also add my baby's identification bracelet and a welcome card to these pages to jazz them up a little. Well you are now well on your way to creating your first baby book but I will leave you with a few more tips to keep you on path. You should write down specific details about every significant event that takes place in your baby's life including how you felt at the time if that happy, sad, tired, or anxious. You can also add newspaper clippings of significant world events that happen as baby is growing if you like. Take plenty of photos and journal about everything from baby getting sick to smiling,laughing,sitting up,crawling,first steps and keep on going to graduation from Harvard Law. Lastly remember to add these memories to your baby book routinely and when it gets full start a new one. Anyone Out There Interested? So www.yourbabysbook.com is up and running but me and my wife are currently the only members, Its a new site so im still stuck in the google sandbox. I have worked hard too build this Baby Book Community website and it has become my passion Im sure that all the other parents out there are interested in sharing there childrens memories online. Development of the actual baby book software to drag and drop your pictures and text into your baby book is in process and im really excited about it. I have not actively promoted this site yet because i want the baby book module to be functioning when i start promotion but if your reading this and you interested in joining me to blog about your baby then please visit the site and join. Making Progress So No members here at Your Baby's Book yet but I have been driving on. Ive made some updates in the last week to help personalize this site. You can now add myspace layouts, embedded music and videos to your Baby Book Page. I am still working on my main concept of a drag and drop Baby Book that can be displayed here online with turning pages. Its been a long journey so far developing Your Babys Book around my work schedule and my baby's schedule. I am not actively promoting this site as it still needs lots of work but if you stumble upon it and read this please JOIN and help me start this community out. I promise i will supply a sollution to sharing your baby's memories online in a family friendly enviroment. DaN

Why I Started Your Baby's Book My son Daniel was born on April 28th 2008 and when my wife was pregnant I decided i wanted him to have a website. I googled yahoo'd and looked all over but did not find any user friendly sollution for creating my son's site as a matter of fact I found pricey, poorly designed sites marketed at parents and I knew my sollution was creating a site. Not just for my son's page but to give all the other parents out there a free space for there childs memories. So i embarked on this mission and spent a few week's in testing software sollutions (well this is what we ended up with). I realize there are other sites out there with the same style but this site sole purpose is sharing your babies memories. Not advertising, spamming, dating, or any other thing that goes on at the other social networking sites. My son's site will always be here and i will always be an active member of the community Hopefully well grow and share all our childrens memories with each other and the rest of the world. DaN
